Rob Walley
Rob is an experienced events, resilience and readiness professional who has led the design, readiness ranging from exercising each competition venue for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, acting as a liaison officer to national and regional control rooms, leading control rooms for the King’s Coronation, Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, SailGP Season 1 to date (Season 4), the 35th and 37th America’s Cup events, The Boat Race (2017-).
Hannah Walley
Hannah brings over 15 years of commercial experience within London’s hospitality sector, where she led and supported teams across a wide range of high-profile events and private dining operations. In response to the seismic challenges of 2020, she joined Controlled Events to assist with client communications during a time of significant operational change. Now, five years on, Hannah oversees logistics and operational delivery across the business, ensuring resilience and responsiveness remain at the core of Controlled Events’ services.
Aislinn Maiden
Aislinn is an experienced Manager who has led lifeguarding and water safety teams for over 10 years. Aislinn is also trained as a First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor and Trainer Assessor through the American Red Cross, Highfield and The Royal Life Saving Society. Aislinn has developed training for Rescue Ready Learning, designed and delivered training and Exercises including Sail GP, Remembrance Sunday, EPC Conference, Central London Multi Agency Exercises as well as supporting Event Control Rooms such as Sail GP, Henley Regatta, The Boat Race and Southport Air Show.
David Hay
David is a fully qualified and accredited security professional, with over 30 years operational and tactical experience in Counter Terrorist and Major Crime Search, CBRN response, Public Order and Public Safety Operations. David is used to operating in dynamic and challenging environments with a solid training background, working across a breadth of major events globally.
Alan Tungate
Alan and Rob have worked together on a range of events going back to Borough work in 2006 in Wembley. Alan is a Health & Safety and Crowd Management Consultant with a specialism in the events sector. Alan focuses on planning, command & control, risk assessment and crisis management. Alan is an expert in managing crowds, events licensing, safety advisory groups and contingency planning.
Andy Houghton
Andy has over thirty years’ experience in resilience and crisis management in many roles across policing, local authority and the private sector, supporting local level multi-agency operational and doctrinal development. Andy has supported Controlled Events’ support to the Houses of Parliament including the live Rehearsal at the Methodist Central Hall in December 2017 and currently leads operational activity for Controlled Events on Resilience projects and strategic exercising with several clients.
